Rolling and rolling hills
If you’re looking for a smooth route that serves everything in easily digestible doses, then this route might be something for you. “Schienerberg” is a sweet climb, riding along the “Untersee” part of Lake Constance on the German side, is flowy, and the “Seerücken”, starting in “Tägerwilen”, offers rolling hills.
Depending on ones mood this route can be ridden easy, allowing you to enjoy and soak up all those stunning views. Once at the top of “Schienerberg” you’ll be greeted by stunning scenery, looking down at the “Untersee”. Riding up the road from “Tägerwilen” to the “Seerücken” you can see “Insel Reichenau”, which to me looks like a tongue reaching into the lake. Once riding the “Seerücken” you’ll enjoy quite backroads.
